All this new hype about all this topics on climate change, lgbtq, etc., and a whole lot of topics are not relevant few years back is coming from a sense of insecurity and sense of lack of identity. People associating themselves with one topic to become part of a group and indulging in group thinking. Many young people are finding importance virtually by becoming part of a community to voice their opinion. They are finding excitement and their significance by the likes and dislikes of others. This is all coming from the feeling of powerlessness, hopelessness, helplessness and the feeling that they do not have control over their life.
