Wealthy is something different different from earning lot of money.
Wealth is state of living where you have independent and self-reliable, you have control and autonomy over your life to a large extent and also have control over what happens in your life. It is like you running your life with full control or is life running you around. Being wealthy enable you to run your life but just focussing on earning lot of money may lead to you being controlled by the circumstance.
Being wealthy means having enough money that makes you confident and secure, wealth is also having healthy relationships with your family and community, being wealthy means staying healthy and fit physically mentally and emotionally, wealth is also and you are doing a job that you find meaningful and have a sense of control which earns you money. Wealth is defined by the stuff that you own that others cannot take away from you.
