Do not get in the way of other’s Karma

Don’t try to get in the way of Karma of others. If you get in the way of others to correct them, then you would suffer the consequences of others Karma. If you see that others are going on a wrong path and their destroying themselves then you can offer some advice with their permission and then just take step aside.

Do not try to change them do not try to teach them. If you do that with them wholeheartedly asking for your help, then you will be blamed, attacked, misunderstood and suffer for others immaturity and lack of gratitude.

Your identity is not your group or group thinking

Creating your pride and identity around what you are born with, where you are born, your caste creed religion is the weakest form of developing one’s character and personality. You are relying on the things that you are gifted and you are born with without your effort struggle and suffering. They are projected on you by your virtue or by chance or by force. Being part of a movement or a community is not your identity.

Your identity is unique to you which is a combination of values you live by, you core beliefs about life, your way of thinking and behaving in the world.

Reverse Azimuth

If you are listening to two sources of information and if you want to decide which source of information is correct to what extent then you need to listen to both opposite sources of information and try to identify the common information that both sources are presenting to you so that would be the area where you could use for yourself to believe in something and also stay the conversation in the direction so the rest of information where the either parties are saying maybe highly polluted by their own partialities and biases.

Love is pure and a commitment

Love is pure.
Love does not have expectations .
Love cannot be judgemental .
Loving is risky because you risk not being loved.
Loving is suffering and constant struggle as you must give it without expectation and judgement .

Love is commitment and a decision. There is no going back. There are no ifs and buts. Liking is feeling. Loving is unconditional and it must not depend on how you feel in that moment. Loving is not dependent on external factors but liking is fleeting and dependent on other factors.

Good habit – make it easy. Bad habit – make it difficult

When it comes to good habits you have to create an environment that is easy to stick to. The same environment and circumstances that you created should also make it very difficult for you to not adhere to your good habits through accountability and responsibility.

When it comes to bad habits you have to create an environment that is hard for you to simply give in to your bad habits. And the same environment must make it very easy for you to skip the thought of temptation and resorting to same old behaviour.

Humans are the only animals who suffer due to emptiness in mind

We have to realise that with the science that we know we are the only living beings on Earth who would have to think about how we are going to spend the day. For rest of the animals it’s all about surviving by feeding, resting and reproducing if there is a possibility. It is about survival of the fittest.

First of all they have to wake up, they have to go for a hunt for food if they hungry or they will just lie around without doing much. When they reach the right age they reproduce. Other animals do not spend time thinking about past or future rather it is the present that is important for them. They have their priorities programmed already which is fight or flight and rest, digest and reproduce.

We humans have our crown jewel of our brain is the pre-frontal cortex, which is responsible for consciousness, rational thinking, executive center for decision making. So we have a need to feel passionate about something or do meaning work that has some significance. When we do not have something l purposeful and engaging work in hands that makes feel valued and appreciated we feel emptiness. We do not like to spend time in emptiness which leads to us indulging in various instant pleasures. Humans are the only known animals who think about past, present and future and want to leave a legacy. Unlike other animals humans life is not only about survival but we are aspirational due to our consciousness. When there is nothing meaningful work to fill in the emptiness in our mind, we resort to watching TV, browsing social media, binging on videos and movies, drinking or smoking, eating, gossipping etc,.

Analogy of our subconscious brain

Let me explain you about the subconscious brain with a very nice analogy. Let us take the example of this room. This room has it has chairs, tables, sofa sets dining table, TV and other appliances . It is having certain format and layout. Now you want to go from A to point B. Now you can use different strategies to navigate from point A to point B but you have to consider all the objects and hurdles between A and B and then safely reach the point B. Similar to how you noticed the stuff between you and your end point, you need to observe all the mental patterns, blind spots and pitfalls that we ingrained in our brain from our childhood and navigate our objectives in life. First we need to pay attention to our way of thinking and behaviours and become self-aware of our mindset. Then we can observe our thoughts and respond to various circumstances that happen with in us and outside of us.

We can compare our subconscious brain as nuclear energy which has immense energy and possibilities. It is just an energy source which can do power a whole planet or could destroy it. That is the reason why a whole lot of equipment and sophisticated technology is used to control the energy to put it to good use. Our subconscious brain is like we have a nuclear energy in our head which determines 95% of our decisions and steering the wheel of our life. We are of course doing our best to control our emotions and bring in rationality in our decision making using our fore brain which is the controller of the unseen energy.

My assessment of why vitamins, minerals and herbs are not promoted in a big way

Vitamins, minerals and certain herbs can treat many diseases when taken in an appropriate dosage and frequency. They can be taken as supplements regularly at right quantities to even prevent chronic diseases. A simple online search shows many results from reputed journals and healthcare websites which states the benefits of micro-nutrients and problems of being deficient. But they are not promoted by our medical personnel and healthcare as they are preventative and no repeated business. They may even negatively impact the profits as they might even fix the root cause of the disease and provide a permanent relief to the consumer.

I think dietary supplements do not have funding for quality research and not marketed because,

  • They it generic and cannot be patented
  • They cannot be marketed as a unique product
  • They take time to work in body may not give immediate relief from pain and suffering
  • They may provide a permanent fix to the root problem
  • They may have multiple benefits and solve multiple issues in body
  • They can be procured anywhere
  • Do not need doctor’s prescription
  • They enhance health and prevent disease which may not be profitable for hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and insurance industry.

Feeling of regret and guilty is good

Having the feeling of guilt and regretting about something is good because it is giving a chance to become aware of the things that you are supposed to do and value in life. It says something about not giving attention to something that is important to us in life.

Foundational regrets are the ones that are pertinent to you, your well being, the things that you are supposed to do for your own best interest so that you could remain healthy, physical and mentally strong.

Boldness regrets are the ones that are related to facing your fears, it is about taking calculated risks, doing something that you are uncertain of but you believe that it is important to do.

Moral regrets are the ones that you have when you compromise your values and ethics. You know what is right thing to do but you took a decision that is safe and easy instead.

Connection regrets are the ones that are related to your relationships not only to yourself but also your family, your friends and other social connections that make you part of something bigger than life.

We enter a world of just enough, just be fine, be ordinary.

We enter a world of just enough, just be fine, be ordinary. As kids we all have great ambitions, want to become someone great, do extraordinary ideas and dreams, we think creatively and differently, we want to be unique. But we all have close people in our lives who wish our best but order us to do safe things, things that are normal and ordinary, do something to get on with life, they will ask us to settle for something that will allow us to lead our lives that are less impactful but good enough to have food, house, buy some stuff and go to some vacations. Since we look up to those people who we depend on, we believe what they say and pick up their mindset of settle for less. Instead of realizing our full potential and exploring all possibilities we fear to be in 1% of the population who have the control, power and uniqueness to make a difference before dying.
