Life is Hard, Do your Best with What is in Your Control

Life is hard and it is hard for each and every human living on this planet Earth.
As someone said – poor people have poor problems and rich people have rich problems. But somehow we all think that our problems are bigger than others and others problems are better to suffer than our own suffering. Grass is greener on the other side of the fence mentality.

We need to acknowledge that some people go through terrible events in life which they are not responsible at all. They are just in the wrong place in the wrong time. There is evil in this world and unfortunately some people fall victim to these kind of circumstances. Some people have very traumatic events and experienced atrocities that are completely condemnable.

To top it social media makes it worse.

In this age of social media, we live in a world where there is constant bombardment of misinformation and disinformation, influencers selling their own agenda, making you feel like you are missing something in life, making you feel that you are a victim, making you feel unhappy with your own life, giving you a sense of uncertainty, making you compare irrationally, making you judgmental, say and do things that make us regret later.

What happens to you and the world being unfair to you is out of your control. But deriving a meaning out of it and working to improve the life is the only way to lead the life. Of course you have the right to feel like a victim as something bad happened unreasonably. Of course you can sit and wallow in the pain, misery, trauma for some time. But at some point you need to realise that the only way out is to strongly believe that it has happened for a reason and you need to muster up the courage to take complete responsibility to come out of your situation.

It could be a painful process. It could be a tedious and slow process. There could be challenges and unexpected breaks. There could be some days where you go off-track. You could be misunderstood and criticized. May be no one encourages up or supports you. May be no one recognises the effort you are putting in, you may most probably need to wait for long time to see positive results. But you must keep going with patience and consistency.

Transforming oneself and learning from an unfortunate event to become better is a tough and painful process for sure. But it is the only way and it is only you who could do it. Only you could decide what is best for you. Only you could take best care of you. And it is worth your effort and time to transform from a victim to a victor.

When life gives you only Lemons, make juice out of it. Do the best you can with what you have and where you are.
